Default Rust On My Magnaflow Catback

I have magnaflow catback which i put on in september....i was changing the oil the other day and had the car on the lift when i noticed that the pipes were completely rusty....i am so ****ing pissed about this....i thought they were stainless steel which should not rust...but i might be wrong....does anyone else have this problem????

it may just be a little surface rust, or it may just be road grime just take a steel wool pad to it.. mine are like that too, but i too got stainless.

i guess it could be surface rust....next time i am under there i will try nd clean it and see what happens...but from what i remember it doesnt look like it is gonna come off

My maganaflows have no rust... They are stainless steal too. If they do have rust, get your reciept out and call up maganflow.

I live in the north east. This winter has been rough on my Mac pipes. It cleaned up pretty well with some household cleaner. Then I polished them with Mothers metal polish. Looks good now. Will look better when I use a chrome polish. I would stay away from steel wool though.

icy roads + salt = rusted car parts...... But, the stainless magnaflows shouldn't rust anyway.
