Picture is horrible, but it appears it might be filtering out a pretty clean engine bay

The original picture looked good, but I didn't downsize it properly. I had to go from 2mb to 500 kb.

Just host it at websites like Imageshack or Photobucket.

I think I missed a few spots with the CD-2. But overall I'm happy with the results, especially for my first time.

Nope your good some say to cover the alternator as well but you should be fine. If you disconnect the battery you mine as well just tkae it out and then clean it. Since your car is older the wiring is usually more dry and sensitive so even with a garden hose try not to directly hit the wires point blank

On my 2002, The only thing I covered up was the alternator with foil. I tried not to spray directly onto the fuse box, the battery, or air filter.

Looks good! Don't be afraid to spread the CD-2 liberally [8D] Since it is the first coating on your engine, you might spread on another coat to really enhance it...and aim the can all around to get down into the various cavities....cover all the visible sides of the various hoses, cables, etc...basically coat anything that you can see that is missing that shine Also since your car is black, you should coat the inside of the fenders and firewall...coat it all!! That is what I do - just be sure to close the hood, fire it up to bake it on and wipe down your hood/fenders of any overspray with a micro fiber and some quick detail spray.
