It just depends on what you want to do with your car. If you wanna bling it out with chrome wheels and sh*t go with the clears but if you wanna black it out (tint, mach 1 grille/spoiler, black wheels etc.) then id get the smoked, just my opinion tho, I was gonna go with smoked but they look too similar to the stock headlights i have right now, so im not gonna spend 200 bucks when i can clear my own corners, all you have to do with take out the amber colored reflector off and seal the headlight up again, im doing that soon when i got my new bumper, so yeah since you have the 99, i think it would be cheaper and look the same if you just did the same thing, the 99's have the clear headlights right? Im pretty sure they do, just take out the reflector and TADA!! clea lights with clear corners, itll cost you like 5 bucks and an hours time cuz you'll have to buy the sealer glue, alot cheaper than $200 bucks

Thanks Jimmz, i didn't know you could just take out the reflectors. That'll save me a lot of money...

no problem 99 snake, yeah I've done it to a few cars except my own cuz i havent had time lately. All you do is remove the bumper, take off the headlights, put them in the oven, take them out (the glue will be melted) open up the headlight, get some tweezers and pull them out. The when ur done seal them back up and put them on. I also "jdm'd" a couple friends civics, looks clean with a black car! All you do is painted the inside housing black instead of the chrome (luckily us 2001-04 guys already have blacked out housing). And you can do that too!! just tape off the actual light bulbs, spray some primer on the chrome and then paint them black, and thats it!! hope that helped..
