Default Tail Light Covers

I had recently purchased a set of light covers for my 95 GT. Front and rear were Wade smoked covers and I liked them way more than I expected to. The front were snap-ons and looked amazing (although one corner sticks up and the other dont) but the rear were held on with the acclaimed "3M Dual Lock" automotive velcro.

As a 3M employee, I know how crappy their products can really be. But to prove the case,it rained today (first real rain of theyear) andI had one rear one fall off on the ride home and I cant find it anywhere.

Can anyone tell me where to find other snap-on rear smoked tail light covers that will stay on? Wade if possible cause I'm a perfectionist and if they're not the same brand I feel weird.

then you applied your velcro wrong. Iv had my covers on the back held on by velcro for almost a year now, been through car washes, high pressure water, rain, anything you an imagine and they wont budge. Hell i cant even get them off

not sure about how true that is. the velcro was pre applied to the cover, all i had to do is apply to the light. the instructions were to clean the spots that the velcro were to stick to with alcohol pads (included) and it will cure over a 48 hr period.

i went a step further than the instructions said, i washed the lights (entire car acutally) then let it dry. went over it again with microfiber cloth to make sure that nothing was there then swabbed the alcohol pad in the spots then let it dry on its own. didn't move the car for 2 days.

it rained 2 days later on the way home from school and it fell off. cant find it anywhere but there are 35 miles to cover so i may have missed it. the other one was on there pretty well though.

Does the soap you use include a wax in it? I was thinking that if it does, it could have left a film priventing a good burn in on the adhesive. I quit using those soaps, don't like the films. I hand wax twice a year anyway.

actually yeah it did. didn't consider that to be the culpret. but that doens't add up to me either. one side fell off, the other i had to put some effort into ripping it off. i dunno... maybe the shape of the cover (they weren't exact, neither were the front) or the pre placement of the velcro?
