Porter Cable pads.
you can use the lake country pads time and time again. i have a set that i bought from justin at obsessive detail and he told me just to clean them with a toothbrush and a few drops of dish soap. just make sure you get all the wax out of them before it dries, if not then you will have problems on your hands.
I know with hand pads even after the wax hardens you can toss them into a pot of water and heat it on the stove with a tea spoon of dish soap(don't boil!) and the wax comes right out. same thing here?
I havent ever read about anybody doing that with their LC pads. I have read about ppl doing that with microfiber towels.
I usually let my pads soak in a bucket with a little bit of dawn. Ring them out and throw them in the washing machine. Then
throw them in the dryer for 20-30 min on low heat. Seems to work pretty good for me. I've never had any issues of the
velcro backing coming off either.

I've had problems with the velcro coming off the pad when putting them in the washing machine.
I haven't done it since and have had no problems. I spray mine with simple green, let it soak for a few mins and then run them under hot water and squeeze.

I let them float wax side down in a bucket of soapy water for a bit, then rinse all that off, hit anything left with simple green and a toothbrush, some minor scrubbing and rinsing brings then right back to like new condition.
