Easiest colors to keep clean
Thanks for the sympathy guys. haha
Black looks gorgeous right after it's cleaned and especially out of direct sunlight. My car has so many swirls, scuffs, scratches, etc. that when the sun is on it you can see everything. Sucks.
I have found that if I dust my car off and go for a drive it is literally caked in a layer of visible dust by the time I get back. I don't even have to drive it for more than an hour or so. Amazing!

For me its about metallic vs pure.....all paint is just as easy to keep "clean", its what SHOWS the dirt and minor imperfections more. Metallic in the paint helps to hide minor swirls, so anything that is metallic is easier "to keep clean" and show ready as apposed to PURE (non metallic) colors like Red, Black, White Orange and Yellow. So if you prefer pure colors vs metallic, just be prepared to have to work a little harder [

Black-been there done that. It kinda ruins you, yet on the plus, it makes a person really look at their paint, after having black.
My last Stang was black, an 89 GT Cobra-nice car, got sick of the black(shows so much) then the S197's came out, I was in a position to buy one. I talked to a pile of painters, asking what would show, and not.
I chose windveil blue with black racing stripes. Gotta have some black back! [8D]
Anyways, I still notice every little flaw-yet they do not stand out as much. Being this is my first new car-gawd its tough seeing a new car get scratches, chips and thankfully no dings yet.
I rarely see swirls, in a good light I can see scratches, chips still are visible but not so much. Enjoy your colour! Black cannot be beat when it is clean.
