go with a dark silver thats what mine is and it looks great when cleaned and will stay that way for a bit after a little dirt build up it starts to show but can still look good and it hides scratches

Tungsten Grey shows little to no dust. If I squat down and peruse the hood or top, I can see a fine layer - but that is what the California Duster is for, and the quick detailer. I had no intention of getting this color on my '07, but I am very happy I did. I don't see other Tungsten Greys much, so it is not a common occurrence.

I say Silver is def. the easiest to keep clean. The tradeoff is that Silver never really gets that sparkle when it's clean like a black, or dark blue IMO.

I have a 08 Vapor and its the best color besides black. I miss the wow factor of black...but when people see my paint in the sun I get so many compliments..its worth it.

As much as I hate to admit it I had to learn the hard way. Black looks great when it's clean but I wish I had chosen a different color now despite all the looks and comments my car seems to get. Black looks badass but damnit I'm kinda getting tired of the upkeep and seeing every little scratch and scuff in the sunshine.

I doubt I'll be able to get what I'm asking but I want to sell my car and get a different color. Vapor silver metallic or mineral gray would be my first choices. White as my second.
I feel the same way, wish I could go back in time or something. You're just torturing yourself with this thread, you know.

I know. But at the time I had an interested party who was thinking about buying my car from me at a price I could live with. 22,900 with my mods listed in my sig. I would've got my downpayment back and all my equity in the loan. That would be livable. But it fell through and I can't find another buyer for the price I want. So I had to give up on getting a different car. Just would lose to much money to sell.

So my plan is to now deal with this black beast I have. Get a porter cable tool next year and learn how to use it myself. It's the only way to go. My local detailers all want to wet sand the car which is a bad idea so I'm not comfortable with them fixing the issues it has.

Want a job done right? Do it yourself! Sad but true. God I have some stories man...

I borrowed the PC from a friend, bought a few supplies, watched how-to videos and polished my black Subaru with the machine. Looks MUCH better know. You can do it, we can help.
