As much as black is a pain the the *** to keep clean, it really looks amazing when you devote a few hours to cleaning it. Best looking color on a car, hands down.

black isn't good, white isn't very good either imo - for dust sure, but get some dirt specks on it or don't wax the car for a few years and it looks like crap. my MG gets cleaned good every saturday and dusted every day if it's not raining - it is hard to keep lookin good imo as well - the hood and roof always look good, but the sides look horrible most of the time

Windveil blue will shine like crazy and not show swirls nearly as bad. Its a perfect compromise between a Vista blue and a Silver

Its so true that black is a PITA but I just can't resist having a black Mustang. My wife's white Intrepid has black hot patch splotches all over it from pothole repairs but other than that it always looks pretty good, even after a long time between washes.

ORIGINAL: Riptide

Thanks for the sympathy guys. haha

Black looks gorgeous right after it's cleaned and especially out of direct sunlight. My car has so many swirls, scuffs, scratches, etc. that when the sun is on it you can see everything. Sucks.

I have found that if I dust my car off and go for a drive it is literally caked in a layer of visible dust by the time I get back. I don't even have to drive it for more than an hour or so. Amazing!
I know exactly how you feel. I just polished my car then got it professionally waxed. That was about two weeks ago and it looks like it did before.

Out of direct sunlight my car looks gorgeous. But in direct sunlight you can see every scratch and every swirl mark.
