crappy looking front bumper HELP

Default crappy looking front bumper HELP

black 98 gt, I guess I ran into too may bugs because my front bumper is pitted from what appears to be bugs, the bugs have been removed long ago but now there is little marks all over the front, don't really have a pic but what shouldI do to fix this wax don't work nor rubbing compound or even meguires scratchX. Is repainting the bumper the only hope for me or what? HELP

quick fix. That coloured wax from turtle wax. Instead of white powder, it will leave whatever colour your car is or close to it. This has always worked for me.

If all else fails, and re-painting seems like the last resort, try this first.

Clean your bumper as well as you can, and then lightly wet sand a small inconspicuous place with 800 grit, then 1000 grit sandpaper. That might level out the paint that is jacked up, and clean up the appearance a little. Then cleanthat small areaagain, polish, and wax. If that seems to work, then you could do the whole bumper. And if that does not help, then you can always get the bumper re-sprayed.

Iwas wondering about wet sanding but i'm not sure if i have the ***** nor knowledge to get it done it is kind of dangerous.This is my 3rd child we are talking about here.

by the way the colored wax helped and it was great idea but it is still noticable
