My girlfriend scratched the door handle with her keys on my new Mustang. She was opening the door and had her keys in her hand. The color is Dark Candy Apple Red, I can see a silver-metallic color where the scratch is located.

What are my options? How much would body shop charge to paint this small scratch?
The only reason it is noticeable is because it is located on the door handle.

Scratch X will probably not work.

Please help.

 

did you kill her at least?[sm=goodidea.gif]no just kidding, they won't charge you that much for a little scratch, but did the paint came off or is just the gray color that thekeys leave?

I am not really sure,but it looks more likethe paint came off. I have not tried any products on the car because honestly I don't want to make it worse. The car has less than 100 miles.
