Default Leather Seats

Hey guys I have an 04 GT with black leather seats and it seems that no matter what treatment I put on them I can never get the shine that I want. It's like it lasts for about 5 seconds and then it disappears as if I have never put anything on it.

are you looking for shine or protection? i know alot of leather products arent meant to make the leather "shine". i normally use mequiars leather spray, but then again my seats have seen much better days and there isnt much hope left for them. i have always heard good things about lexol leather conditioner though.

The seats are in great shape so I just want something to make them shine up really nice.

I've been using Meguire's Leather Conditioner Wipes on mine when they need cleaning and/or to keep them conditioned. I honestly find them too shiny half the time and would prefer a nice matte look. Perhaps you should look into this product as an option if shine is what you are going for.

I have the tan leather...so shine is not what I seek...but the Mcguires wipes are fantastic at conditioning and protecting the leather.

The kids spill stuff all the time in my wife's car (also tan leather) and it wipes right up and the seats look better than new.

Armor All makes a leather protector and wipes...not sure if they shine, but I bet they do.

Well, leather protectant is supposed to protect not shine. But the two step Lexol product does yeild a nice shine IMO. The cleaner is meant to clean obivoulsy, and the conditioner does its thing and adds a shine if you don't buff it off. You are supposed to apply the conditioner, then wipe it off....which kills the shine. At shows I wipe it on and leave it and it shines it up nicely.....but wipe it off before you drive or you'll notice the seats being a tad sticky []

I have also used Justin's Silk Shine Interior Dressing on my seats and it has a bit of a shine to it as well.....and I don't recall it being sticky either.
