Was just curious if anyone knew like a ball park guess as to how much it would cost to get your whole car painted a different color, and possibly put stripes on it?

 

I was just quoted $600 for my new hood. Take that and X by paint area... I am getting the scoop painted a diffrent color... I had a friend just get a quote for1300 for the stripes.

You get what you pay for with paint. For a proper job, including stripping off all the old, removing panels and painting all the crevices properly you're probably looking at a starting point of $6000 easy. You'd probably be better off trading for one in the color you want.

 

I have an 89 gt and was quoted 3,000 -3,500 for sand and pait...they take all panels off and sand and paint them...Got quotes Thurs
