Default cleaning engine bay?

i already looked through the threads to find one that was helpful and didnt find any but i hope to make one.

i want to clean my engine to look like perfection, as i do on the outside

what do i use and what are the steps to clean up my entire engine and make it look new

also what are some things i can do to the engine bay to make it look more eye opening
for instance, i have CAI and the fat chrome pipe is a eye opener, any more?

I used tirefoam and a towel.

70k Daily driven lancer.

CD2 is supposed to be amazing too, and less greasy. (less greasy = dirt does not cling)

hey, i went to it, but do you have a picture or can you take a picture of the things covered up, i see what needs to be covered up
but if i dont completely covered up what needs to be, then ill prob be screwed

then once they are covered up, what needs to be used to clean and everything

well i dont have pics with them covered up and i am not real sure what the v6 engine bay looks like but you need to cover up your alternator, your Battery, the fuse box. i am not sure if there is a coil over plug ignition set up in the v6 or the distributor on wire set up but if it is coil over plug you will need to cover them up with a rag or something of the sort. but if it has plug wires you will need to cover up were the wires go to the plugs and were the wires some out of the distributor.
