Default FOGGING WINDOWS!

Well i windex'd the outside of my windsheild, side windows, headlights, side mirros, didn't realize there is a coating of oil or something that would screw it up. Now when i tried driving in normal weather, it fogs up extremely bad. Is there something i should put on it to fix this.

Windex on the OUTSIDE of your windows is perfectly fine. Just don't use it on the inside of the windows if they're tinted!!! I personally use a spray bottle with regular water and a drop of dish soap, and it works great. It's cheaper than the 'name brand' window cleaners, but works just as well if you have a good squegee...

What's wrong with Windex?

Are you suggesting not to use it on windows that come from the factory or after market ones?

I never had problems with Windex on anything, so I am curious about the warning.

The old windex formula wasn't meant for titnted windows. The new formula though I think is preatty safe for this. Not what I use though.

the only time not to use windex is on tint. Other than that, it's made for glass, so it's fine to use. For tint, you gotta use something without amonia in it/
