Default removing bug stains

ok i have a yellow 03 gt and after a couple of months the stains are getting worse and worse. i scrubb my car at least once a week and it doesnt help. i have used many different kinds of bug and tar remover but those do not work either. and also tried a rag and a little bit of gasoline(my father-in-laws idea). is there any tricks out there that can possibly help me?

Do not use gas on the paint of your car it can mess up the finish and take off the clear coat. Try using some wd40 spray it on the stain and the rag and then rub it in, that usually works for me.

I think there's a couple of threads on this, but the best thing I've found is McGuires Detailing Spray and a good micro-fiber towel.
However, since yours have been there so long - it may take a buffer or something more drastic.

To KEEP this from happening - never let bug guts (or bird poop) or anything else like that on your cars paint any longer than necessary.
It's good practice to keep a bottle of detailing spray and a rag (micro-fiber) in your trunk. At the end of the day, take five minutes and hit all
the spots you can find. Prevention is the best medicine. Sorry I couldn't help more with your current "baked-on" guts.
