What did I do wrong?
...and how can I fix it?
I have a Satin Silver 2006 GT bought new Sept. 2006. I have waxed it about every 4 months (or so) using Klasse at first, then more recently Meguiar's NXT Tech Wax 2.0. I clayed it today for the FIRST time using Meguiar's Clay kit. I had no experience with claying but had watched a couple of videos and read several threads on the forum.
I washed first, then clayed, then washed, then used the NXT 2.0 wax. I did not polish because I had no visible scratches or swirls.
The hood came out great - I could really feel a difference. The sides of the car (doors, fenders), however, feel kind of "rough" - not too much, just not as glassy smooth as the hood.
Can anyone suggest what I may have done wrong? Is it safe to clay again (if this is a solution...) - If so, how should I go about it?
Thanks for any suggestions or feedback as always.
Best Regards
