What should I expect to pay if I get my GT repainted? Including the sanding, dent removal, etc. what would an approximate cost be including the labor? Also, does anybody know of any reputable body shops around Statesboro or Albany, GA? I want to make sure it is done right.

A Good paint job can range from 2000-5000 depending on the type of paint you use, and the level of the work.

Check with some Ford dealerships in your area first. The one around me charges $46/hour for prep and painting which isn't bad. I think most ford dealerships if not all have a warranty on their work for the life of the car. I would ask them.

46/hr is great and make sure to see some of the work (not pics) at any shop you consider and get referrals from cars that have been repainted if you like what you see (from car clubs and or car shows etc)....
for the most part you get what you pay for if you shop around and go with a reputable shop.....My guess if using the same color 2-6K for paint, wetsanding, and buffing inc any other labor costs....JMO

Dealerships aren't likely to deal with full color changing re-paints. I'd be leary of using them.

Find yourself a reputable shop in your area, go to a car show and ask the older muscle car owners who they have used.

A color change involves a lot of labor. From experience it'll run you anywhere over $2,500 from a respectable shop. If the price is any cheaper, be nervous.
