Default Help Paint not up to standards

I just picked up my 99 35th yesterday and needless to say, it has very bad spider webbing. I just hit the hood with some of my Polymer II sealant. It still feels very rough and the spiders are not gone. I did this by hand so obviiously was not expecting huge results.

I really want to cure this problem and get my paint up to my standards or near perfection. Am I going to have to buy a PC or take it to someone to correct it for me? Its also a little hazy on the passenger side door and looks as if it could have been re-sprayed. I know the passenger side fender was re-sprayed and they did not do the best job which really makes me upset. I am a perfectionist in every way, shape, and form.

Any help and or suggestions would be of greet appreciation. The car is Performance red by the way. I also have a very nice Carnuba wax in a yellow container that I plan hitting it with. I have a single speed 10" buffing wheels at home I could try using. I tried it on my pearl orange GTi and it seemed to work alright but spiders were still definitely visable. I want to literally eliminate all of these dam spiders and get my paint as close to perfect as humanly possible.

Thanks,
Free

I think a PC would really make a difference for you. Another option is to take it to a professional to buff out. I think it will be more cost effective for you to get the machine and do the work yourself, the PC will pay itself off and then some.

Always start out with the least aggressive pad and polish combo and work your way up. On some paints it doesn't take much work on others it may take a lot of time, you really don't know until you get started.

OK. I guess I will just start saving for a PC then. But in the meantime, would you guys think it would at least benefit the paint to apply and take off with my 10" orbital buffer? PC's are spendy, but they generally ged rid of pretty bad spider webbing, correct? If someone could recommend the correct cutting pad(s) I would need to correct my paint that would be tight. I will try to get pics tomorrow. I mean dont get me wrong, the paint shines nicely but isnt smooth and is terribly webbed and has a little black road grime mixed in as well.

Also, is there a lotion that would actually firm up the seems? It has the special edition silver and charcoal leather seats and they seem a little "soft" if you know what I mean. It seems as if the previous owner had put some of that shiny crap on it so I am going to hit it with some Woolite and water in the near future to clean it up. It just sucks that that paint needs corrected cuz I just bought my car yesterday lol. What would I expect to pay for a professional to completely correct my paint, around $200 or so?
