I have a 02 gt, i am debating whether or not to spend the extra 250 on 18 inch chrome 03 cobras, or save the 250 and get the polished ones. Whats the difference? Maintenance? And do they shine as well as chrome?

Next? I have a zinc yellow sidescoop and am going to paint it with factory code spray paint that i get from carquest when you give them your vin, its mint paint, but what is the process for sanding off the old paint and making sure it looks pretty good when done?

If you go to the thread "How To Polish Alum. rims" in the detailing forum you will see what I posted on how to polish. They can look just as good as chrome sometimes better but it does require maintenance to keep them at there best look. It isnt too bad if dont mind polishing them from time to time, but if you want to wash and go chrome is less work in my opinion, that and your fingers tips arent always black and stained, of coarse you could always use latex gloves
