Default Question about wheels

I have a 97 GT with stock wheels, i wanted to go with 17x9s in the front and 17x10.5 deepdish in the rear, if i got the wheels would they just fit on or would i have to make modifcations to the car.

If you want to be safe you will get new tires, but technically you don't. You can stretch them.

I talked to a guy one time who said he fit a 195 on a 10.5" rims, he had to use lighter fluid and blew it up around the rim. How crazy is that!

id rather get a 315/35/17 for the rear and run a drag radial than an almost skinny though
