Looking for painting tips from a pro!
I have a 2006 gt screaming yellow, and i decided i wanted to give it the old school boss look.I've been calling around and getting paint quotes from shops and of course there all pretty high. So i wanted to look into painting some of the parts myself.I wanted to start by painting my spoiler flat black.
So what im looking for is what steps do i need to take? From what i read (my brother in law has a compressor and air gun) i need to clean the the spoiler first, then wet sand it with a special grade of sand paper , and then Im good to paint?
Any tips would be great! i don't want to mess it up, but at the same time I want to do it myself ,save some money and get the thrill of working on my parts myself!
