Default TAR?

Hey guys. Wondering if anyone can help me out. Got a bunch of tar on my DD, little dots all over each side and around back - feels like sandpaper when you rub your hands over it. I used some gasoline on a small area and it worked ok but not sure about using gas on a larger area.

Anyone have any advice on what to use, how to apply, how best to use? Wax afterward I presume?

thanks.

Stoner Tarminator is all that I use in my detailing business. Just spray it on and let it sit for a few seconds and the tar just starts to run down. It usually comes off with ease.

could use a clay bar then some wax if its on your paint and maybe a good polish job after the clay.

A claybar will take off tar, the only time I would use a claybar for tar is if there was a couple places with light tar. It is so much easier to use a tar remover on tar. Then you can claybar, polish, and then wax.

pick up a quart of reducer. NOT THINNER.

or just cheap gallon of bug & tar remover. will be way over kill amount but its better then the junk at walmart.

if you use reducer, you dont even have to use any elbow grease just a few wipes and its gone and then just wash it off and wax it.
