Hey there!

I assume the color of your car is the one in your signature. If you are doing everything by hand, I would go with my OD Light Polish first, this will bring out more shine and reflection, take out light swirls and scratches, plus clean your paint. Next, I would go with my OD Wet Glaze for a nice wet look and gloss. For your wax you have a couple different choices, my OD Wet Wax is a really popular liquid carnauba wax and my Wet Obsession is my popular paste wax. The difference between the 2 waxes are carnauba content, the Wet Obsession has a lot higher amount of carnauba, you are going to get more depth and wetness with this. If you do a search for Wet Obsession you will see a ton of results. Dodo Juice waxes are a very good choice too, it just depends on how much money you are wanting to spend.

Don't forget to checkout my selection of high quality microfiber towels, if you are going to be using high quality detailing products you want to use high quality towels, wash mitts, etc...

Hope this helps, let me know if you have any other questions.

Justin,

Do you wash again after claying and before applying polish/wax?

Thanks

You can, but I never do. It is really just personal preference, I think it is an extra step that isn't needed.

Justin,

Thanks as always for your time and great advice. I'm very seriously considering purchasing and trying your line of products - as a 30+ year "amateur", personal vehicle detail geek (just my own car) - to replace some of the other products I have used. Your ongoing involvement, help and kind consideration are most likely a reflection of your product quality and your standing behind them is a reflection of your integrity - hard to find these days...

Kudos to you! And I look forward to being your customer/client.

Expect a lot more questions though : )

Not a problem bud! Whenever you have a question, feel free to ask. Detailing is my passion that I've been doing for several years and I love to spread the knowledge with others.

Thanks for all the info Justin! I too am starting to develop a serious passion for car detailing and would like to get into paint correction sometime. Seeing a vehicle with swirls all over it, and vehicles people just flat out don't take care of sickens me. Not sure why, but I love seeing write ups where people have done corrections, and full details and there is that perfect shine again!
