I also hope you're stripping the old wax off before applying the new wax. There is such a thing as over waxing.

3-4 hours for wax? Please fill me in on what wax has to cure fo that long. I hope you wax in a sealed, dust proof area aswell. Dust sticks fo wax instantly. Apparently if you're taking 3 hours to wax, that's a lot of dust causing swirls in your paint.
1st line right but all by hand so that's covered.
Again not sure as I have done some cars 350+times no ill effects
3hrs because I do under the hood door jambs and under the trunk ie everything metal.
last line is null and void as I do car in small portions at a time ie trunk take of polish/wax move on to 1/4 panel then door etc etc.
Last point car is is a clean garage (go figure) and stored under the softest of car covers and the thinnest poly on the market, hense no swirl marks. I polish in a north south or east/west fashion so I have exactly ZERO swirl marks.
You are not a believer and that is fine and your car is clean but I have to say mine is cleaner/shinier.

I can't put pics up but feel free to go to cmoc.ca and under snakebite find a post/thread called rate the shine and you will find the shiniest car on the planet. Oh and the rims get polished every time as well and this is included in the 3 hrs

You're wasting your time if you are doing any paint correction by hand, as your body can not create enough friction to break down down swirls.

I'm not a member on that site so I can't see your pics. But I'd sure hope it's leaner than my 7 year old paint on mine!!!

I must do something right, cause I'm CONSTANTLY asked, 'What do you use on your Mustang, that makes it shine so much'. Oh well, the picture won't load up. Boy, do I feel silly.

Do you have multiple accounts or something? I'm confused.

I also bet your paint is mocromarred to the 1000th degree if you're just using a polishing compound by hand. So ****ing stupid.

My last reply. I have no swirls as this requires a circular application and removal. See above I use a straight line approach. More wax then polish but hey. I notice you shut down on the 3 hr thing re dust in the wax so I will leave this subject now
