Default Painting without a booth

Hey guys. I am going to be repainting my car eventually. But I'll be doing it part by part as I get new body pieces, etc. My question is whether there is a difference in a car painted in a booth, to painted in a closed off, non booth area (like a garage, area covered in plastic etc.). Does not baking the paint, clear make a difference? Or does that just speed the drying process up? Just trying to get some info. Starting to look for a color I like, so getting the info before that's chosen!

Thanks.

a booth is used for maintaining a controlled and clean environment for painting. baking the clear just speeds up the drying time. and i believe the cure time as well. If you paint in a garage make sure its well ventilated and keep the floors wet in order to keep dust to a minimum.

i was mostly checking on the issues between baking and not. i didnt know if it would effect how the clear reflected or not. but thanks! i will be sure to keep the floors wet, that makes sense!

For best results, you should bake. But if you live in a area where the weather is not always cold than you shouldn't have a difference if you let the paint dry with the hardeners.

i might look into borrowing or renting booth space on weekends, since baking saves a ton of time....
