Default brakelight decal

I just bought a mustang decal for my third brake light from v6mustangstuff. I ended up not lining it up right and ruining it. *sigh* $15 down the drain. Eh, I guess I'll buy another one and try again. Should I take the brakelight out to apply it next time? Ugh.. that sucked lol

Bought one too and screwed up putting it on as it was a bit too big for the thirdbrake light...oh well didn't get another one.

Your not the first person to do that and you wont be the last. They can be a real pain to put on.

Baltimorestreetmods.com sent me a bunch of free stuff (stripes, decals, etc) They sent me 2 brake light decals. There is a trick I'm going to tell you about that will make you kick yourselves.

Find a a aleast a 16. oz spray bottle, put a little dish washing liquid and a little rubbing alcohol and fill the rest with water. Shake very well. Okay now for the good part. Spray the area in which the vinyl/brake light decal will go. Once the area is wet with solution put the decal on. It will come off on the car but it won't stick! You can slide it into the perfect position and it won't stick! When you set it in the perfect place get something flat (old credit card will work) and sqeegee the solution out from under the vinyl. It will dry out and stick in the perfect place and stick without any bubbles or wrinkles! I have done it and it looks like mine came from the factory.
