black car detailing trouble
I have the same issue. I previously had a Torch Red Stang, and scratches and swirl marks were much harder to see. On the Black '10 I've got now...it is impossible to keep that "wet" look your describing. I would suggest looking at the Mequiers website as they have lots of tips on how to keep it as clean as possible. Everything matters, from your washing/drying technique to your everyday maintenance. I've found that its something I'm just going to have to deal with, as I don't have the time or will to put that much work into my daily driver to keep it perfect.
All the products I use I got from Obsessive Detail--from day 1. From waterless wash, to microfiber towels to the wet obsession detail wax--which is, in my opinion, the best on the market. If you have a dark colored stang or are about to get one and want that paint looking like new--you have to start taking care of it from the moment you get it into your hands. I even told the dealership not to wash the stang before me driving it home.
