Question Oven baking "wrinkle" painted valve covers??

So I just painted my valve covers with black "wrinkle" paint and is says to let sit for 24-48 hourse to cure. Then it says "for paint to cure bake in oven for 1 hour at 200 degrees".....Im confused. Do you let it sit in the sun and cure or do you bake the damn things?

Thanks,
Mathew

If it's just rattle can, 48 hours of cure time is plenty. The motor will bake it on the rest of the way if necessary

I wouldn't suggest putting a painted part in your kitchen oven!

It sounds like you should place them in an oven and bake for 1 hr at 200 degrees. But man, what a pain. How do you fit the entire engine in your oven :-)
