Default New Car Care

I've got a 2013 on order and hope to pick it up sometime next month. I'm new to detailing (done it once or twice), but I really want to make sure I go through all the steps I need to keep everything in perfect condition.

Any tips for someone who wants to keep their new baby looking perfect? Any day one cleaning/maintenance I should be looking into? I've heard that you should wait a few months before waxing, is that true?

You tube is a big help with techniques and different products. Autogeek.net is the goto Site for car care and detailing. Their are tons of products on the market its just personal preference some work better than others. Wax wise I prefer pinnacle souveran for the deep glossy wet look.

Make sure you let the paint fully cure before doing anything to it.
CG LAVA is also getting a lot of recognition, it is a new type of wax and has some good reviews. I used BFWD sealant and am very pleased with the results. I am going to order some Lava and give it a try.

Do LOTS and LOTS of research then its really a matter of opinion and what YOU like to work with.
