Default Where to start?

This is my second mustang before that it was jeeps and trucks, and who cares if they are dirty. My old mustang (black) got really bad water spots and I bought clay bar, 3m polishing compound, and glaze to fix the problem. It was my first time doing anything with paint. It worked out ok but there were a lot of swirls in the paint that polishing didnt remove. My new car is a Kona Blue GT 5.0! I love it except for the paint. It was used as a courtesy car and the constant washing did a number on the paintjob. Here is my question, the hubby bought me the zaino showroom polishing kit which will be here friday, and I am trying to decide if I need to use the polishing compound on the car to try and minimize the scratches and swirls before using the kit. Do i need to maybe wetsand? Better yet can anyone give me a step by step order in which to use these products to get the best results. I really like shiny!

well after two days polishing with the zaino kit my hubby bought for me, I drove my car through New Mexico, Arizona, California, Oregon, Washington State and into British Columbia. It looked ridiculously shiny for 1 day now there are a million dead bugs glued to it, dust and sulphur from the orchards and ash from the wildfires... Time to start all over again.

Hint, it's more fun when you do it with a bit of alcohol... hehe. Myself, I enjoy cleaning my car. I get off work at 5:00 in the morning and quite often I go into the garage and work on a spot or two.
