just bought a 2014 Mustang in deep impact blue having a metallic silver pony style stripe put on. i would like to know since you all take care of your Mustangs very well. what wax would you suggest to polish are car? also is Meguiars quik interior detailer /cleaner safe to use on the interior? thank you sidehack.

that is like asking which band is the best. Everybody here has a different opinion. I have used quick detailer, I've never had any problem. Personally I use NuFinish.

My car's Vista Blue so the paint's still a darker metallic blue.
I prefer to get stuff off the shelf at the store whenever possible rather than ordering it online.
When it's warmer out and I'm detailing the car all the time I just use Mother's FX Synwax. It comes in paste or liquid. I love the way it makes the paint look.

My pre-winter detail, or any time when I don't plan on waxing for a bit, I use that Mother's wax and top it with the Collinite that Geezer posted. That stuff is amazing. It's hardy but it doesn't bring out my paint the way the Mother's does. That why I put it on top.

Meguire's is a good off the shelf brand. They're interior and exterior detailer are both great.
