Whats a "good company" to buy vinyl stripe kits that might even make them to order in terms of creating different terminology in the side stripes?
I'd like stripes similar to the look of an older GT 500 that does not say GT 500 like fake clone. I'd rather have stripes on the side that say something descriptive like "Supercharged 5.0L. or Supercharged GT 350." or something that correctly describes the Mustang without misrepresenting it as a Ford factory product. "GT 350 Clone" might get a smile!
On the Mustang below I chose stripes that said only Mustang GT which is appropriate.
look in the yellow pages of where you live and find a place that letters big rigs. All of those stickers on the doors are good quality, but a bit pricey. They will make what you want on the computer and install. Installation can be a nightmare, and make it more expensive if you screw it up so I guess in the long run, it can be cheaper.
Get the pros to install. You will most likely screw it up (not that I have faith in this). Lets say the stripes cost $150 and you want to save $100 by installing it yourself and screw it up because it's your first time trying it. You've pi$$ed away $150 and you have no stripes. THis is experience talking (this is what I did). Good luck with your project and maybe some pics afterwards.
