all cowl hoods perform the same (right??) so i would be more interested in looks. i just want a plain 4" or 5" cowl hood, no scoops and sh*t. i would prefer fiberglass over steel, want it to be lightweight</P>

No they are NOT all the same. Quality varies form manufactureer to manufacturer. some are lighter than others, nobody makes a steel one. 3" look about right, anyting higher starts to look funny, my opinion. unless you have a blower or turbo and need the clearance 3" would look the best, again, my opinion.</P>


Look at VFN, Harwood or A1, sure there are a few others too.</P>
