I need a new wash mitt and want to support your site. Which do you recomeed for the least swirl marks because the one i have now a cheap one from walmart scratches the heck out of it. While your at it, get one of their grit guards for your bucket that has the dirt-trap area at the bottom. It basicallys uses an elevated "grate" off the bottom so your mit doesn't go all the way down and soak up the grit. Here's the link: http://www.autogeek.net/gg1010.html

Honestly, I use a typical turtle wax mit that I got at Meijer - and the soap I use is a fancier brand (can't think of it off hand) that has carnuba wax beads in it. As little as my car gets driven and NEEDS a true wash - this isn't as important for me. I think I only WASHED my car two times last year. All the other times were cleaned with detailing spray (McGuires) and a clean micro fiber.

Just get a good quality mit, and clean it everytime your done - and don't use it on anything else. If you're married and your wife likes to wash her car, then get her her OWN bucket and mit. All of my car cleaner/detail stuff stays in the trunk in its own bucket.

AutoGeek's "The Bone" wash sponge is pretty nice. It's microfiber and rinses out really well. You can't go wrong with that.
