Default cat back install

i just purchased the flowmaster American Thunder cat back for my 88 gt. I was wondering if you need an exhaust gasket in between the stock hpipe and the new pipes before the mufflers? Anything else I should know before I install it, tips or anything would be great. thanks

The kit should have everything you need, except maybe for a hacksaw

I should be, I've convinced quite a few people to buy the mufflers and I haven't heard one cry about it yet.

After removing the oem stuff, install you tailpipes first. Then intall your mufflers and Flow tubes. Adjust the flow tubes to get proper angle and clearances. Make sure you like the way everything fits before you tighten those clamps 'cause once they're tight, you'll have a hell of a time getting them apart.
