Zainos is a great product, I,ve used it for 3 years now. Once you get used to the product you will have no problems. What does it accomplish? To me it's one of the best none abbrassive polishes. If done right you can get a show car finish every time. As far as the dawn goes do not use it everytime you wash.

OK, first you have a black car, real tough if you are new to detailing. Micro srcatches could be caused by the way you are washing it. I like the thickest all cotton towel I can to wash with. ( martha stewart at k'mart I think they are $5.99 each). If these are just micro scratches then the zaino will hide these, if you follow the directions that came with the polish. If you note in the directions he says not to put the polish on in circulor motions, the same goes for washing, and do not put a lot of force into washing. To much for will cause scratches. The heavy terry will catch the dirt. The same goes for drying, I can't stand a shami, I like the really big cotton terry towels. I hope some of this will help. I'ts a start and I can go on for hours. Most of what I have learned is from trial and error.

Thanks. Since I have bought the car I have only washed it with a micro fiber or sheep skin mit and dryed with only micro- fiber towels. I am ordering the ZFX Z5 Z2 and Z6. Any tips comments?

Zaino pc fusion does wonders on black. My Xterra is not garaged kept, and does not see frequent washings.
Just be carefull with the stuff. It is abrasive.
Here's a pic of the Xterra after pc fusion and one coat of polish.
Pic of my GT after 5 coats of Zaino
