anyone ever paint the engine bay of their 99-04 mustang? if so how did u go about it

Just the walls of the engine bay, i havent decided on a color yet, possibly blue to match the fittings on my CAI etc, i think blue would look good with silver, im open to ideas tho, i would just go look at my car but its 75 miles away in storage for the winter so i am trying to visualize it in my mind. Just wondering if anyone has done this (without removing the engine or any big work like that) i was tihinking caliper paint would work. Basicaly i am trying to dress up my engine bay for cruise nights etc. anyone have anyother dress up ideas?

Why would you want to do that??? Do you have a pic of what your planning on doing>?? the engine bay should be the color of your car right??? I dunno maybe Im misunderstanding what your trying to do but if you want to dress up your engine you can buy colored hoses, powdercoat some parts etc.... blue or red looks good on silver... but I wouldnt paint the entire engine bay a different color than my car but hey thats just me.....

Yeah maybe i will just re paint it silver, the paint under the hood is dull and there is a little discoloration, just want to make the engine look as presentable as possible

Yeah man I know how that is, I'd get some high gloss engine paint or brake caliper paint silver and see how it looks if anyything itll look better because it wont be as dull....
