some intakes have a spot for water sending units if yours does then use it if not im not sure where it would go.

It looks like that’s a mechanical oil pressure fitting. I installed mine on the extension that the original oil sending unit screwed into. But on mine I wanted to use the original electrical sending unit too. So i unscrewed the extension from the block and drilled and tapped the extension so I could "T" in my mechanical pressure line too. Works great no problems.

make sure to route the hose nice and away from any exhaust manifold/headers otherwise ull get a smoke show

what does the stock sending unit lead to - the dash?

 

yeah the stock unit sends the voltage to the gauge on the dash which I wanted to keep working when i installed my mechanical oil pressure gauge, so i just "T"ed my pressure line in as seen in the photo
