I posted a thread earlier about swithing 1970 head light bezels with 1969 bezels. I'm woundering if anyone out there would have a picture of the back of the 1969 bezel. Also if i could get the front fenders measurements that would be sweet.

 

the 69 headlight buckets should fit fine in the 70 fenders, one of our other members has 70 fenders on his 69 coupe, your gunne need a new grille while your at it

 

I have 70 fenders and a 69 headlight bucket. It wont just fit, i had to cut up and modify the brackets on the inside of the actual fender where the headlight bucket sits, it was no big deal, took 15 minutes. I wish i had some pictures for you, but i was stupid and didnt take any!

 

thanks for the replys. im going to check around the local junk yards for some new bezels. what els would i have to replace once i switched the bezels. grill, trim? what about the head light wiring?

 

grille, trim, the wiring yes, your going to need the 69 grille and foglights

 

what all on the wiring will i have to chang?

 

well the 2 main headlights are in the grille, you just have to make sure they make it to the new location in the headlight bucket, then if you already have fog lights you need to just connect the old harness to the new grille lights and if you dont you need to wire them in

 

sounds alot easyer then what i thought it was going to be. does the bezel have the same bolt patterns or do i need to drill new holes in the fender?
