I'm looking at going with the new Year One Bezel for my 69 so I can have more of the "essential" gauges.

It states that it will hold a 5" speedo and tach and 4 2 1/16" gauges.

My problem is I'm looking at the Auto Meter Pro Comp gauges. They only come in a 2 5/8" size (for the volts, fuel, water temp, and oil pressure). Does anyone know if these gauges will work with minimal modification?

Or what gauges/combos do you all recommend me trying?

I'm leaning towards staying with the black faced gauges but I have been known to change my mind where this car is concerned.

why only 2-5/8?

that's the list of all analogue autometer gauges in 2-1/16" (more than 500 ....)
go from there ....
