My mustang came off the showroom floor in 64 with the driverside mirror not on the "Sill" outside the window but slung about an inch down on the side of the doorskin. Unfortunately some jackass caved in the door as they backed out of a parking spot but has anyone seen or heard of a mirror located here from the factory?

I dont know, but my mirror is in the factory spot, and it is in the way of opening the wing window. No matter where you adjust it. I guess all the mirrors on these stangs are messed up.
