As much as I would like it to happen I dont think it will, theres not much difference bettween regular mustangs and verts, they still have same motor and drivetrain.

OK count us in as 2 yes votes!

As convertible owners we are the best of both worlds. We are unique to every model Mustang but we also bridge them all too! Ok, except the Mustang II series. (74-78) What the heck was Ford motor company thinking back then? And NO other mustangs can claim this! Collectively we represent the most expensive, the most sought after and the highest sale and resale value as any equal model through out almost all the years. I guess one could say the verts ARE the ‘cream of the crop’! Please compare which cost more 2006 V6 vs. 2006 V6 convertible, 2007 GT vs. 2007 GT convertible, even any years Saleen/Roush vs. any years Saleen/Roush convertible? OK how about 66 GT, or a 66 GT convertible? Every time that the two can be compared evenly the convertible gets more money because why? YES, they are the most desirable! Not the most sold but the ones that can bring in the most money always has been always will......
We need our own section please.

Being new to Mustangs and convertibles, a section for vert-specific questions will help me become familiar with issues solely related to the convertible. What are the things I need to concern myself with that are specific to convertibles? (care and cleaning, for example)

A section for convertibles may not get as much traffic as some of the other sections but I beleive it would be beneficial to those of us with the unique Mustang.

A vert section would be great. I would like to hear about all the mods other owners are doing and what mods to stay away from. ie Roll bars, tonneau covers, cleaners, factory sub-frame connectors vs aftermarket. So add my vote to the list.

being a vert owner, of course i would be in because it would be nice to be able to ask vert specific questions. but being the devil's advocate, i see what the mods are saying about having so many questions. technically if there is a question, we should be able to use the search and see if there is already an answer out there instead of making another thread.

but mods, maybe have something in sort of an off topic area for us vert owners. that way we can discuss just about everything when it comes to certain mods/upgrades that were just completed. maybe not specifically like a tech section, but an area where vert owners can also just talk or see other things that are going on with other vert owners.

does that even make sense? maybe i should just shut up now [&:]

I would be happy with the OT section for verts. I am not trying to make this challenging, and I know a vast majority of the non-vert owners probibly think we are just ebing retarded as the motor and drivetrane is the same, but we just want our own little corner we can chat and the like in. If it takes off like crazy then keep it, if no one uses it then dish it to the side. Look how this thread has taken off since we got the word out there.
