I have a 2003 mustang gt Stock hood,i was wondering how do i install hood pins into this hood?

I dont know about your specific vehicle, but I have hood pins on two of my cars.

I have to ask, since youre using the stock hood. Are these pins functional, or cosmetic?

If they are functional, you need to first figure out where under the hood you can mount them. I used a flat point, nearest the front outside corners of the hood. You also need to see where they will come through the hood, and if the hood is flat in the same area, it will be better for the pins. Once you have your location, its just a matter of drilling the hood and underhood area.

so, some are stick on, some only require you to screw them down with 3 or 4 screws. if theyre cosmetic, it doesnt really matter where you mount them, since they dont have to be structurally sound.

 

i saw a black shelby with functunal hoodpins that car was orgasmic. only 350hp though it had mods so i wasn't very impressed.

 

first, i doubt you know what a orgasm feels like unless it was with your hand. secondly, have you driven a car with 350hp?

There not hard just takes time and adjusting, just make sure your righ ton where to drill.
