Why can't I post in certain sections? Are you a new member?

Maybe you were looking at a different section? The archives have been frozen for quite some time..

Access will be granted automatically based upon you meeting the time minimum for being an active member (30 days, and 'active' being the key word), and also having a minimum of 50 posts. You need to increase your posts to gain access to certain sections (like Street & Strip). This policy was put into practice to eliminate trolling.

I understand your policy and respect it. I will make sure for now on to sign in when I visit so that I will be considered 'active". Since I don't own a mustang (not yet at least) the oppertunity to post is very limited. Once I meet the time limit could you perhaps reconsider your position? I can be found using the the same screen name (707chance) on LS1tech, GPONA, fbodyhideout, REVX and a few other GP sites. Thank you for your time.

Once that happens, send me a PM as a reminder about this thread.

This 50 / 30 rule seems a bit much to me. I have hosted and moderated motorcycle & Ham Radio forums (DelphiForums.Com) over the years and I understand what dedication it takes by the moderators to keep a good forum going good. However some of us have a lot of other interests besides just our beloved Mustangs and don't post just to take up space and get a high post count. In any event, this is a good forum with about all the threads that one would need to cover everything "Mustang". I started a thread about the age of Mustang owners and it received a lot of replies. Then magically it was moved to the off topic folder and guess who can't post back to replies now?
Anyway, this is your forum (your house) and I will abide by your rules, even if I don't agree with them completely. Thank you for letting me vent a bit on my soapbox.
