How do i put a picture or words as a signature? And also how can i out a picture on the side under my name that you see on the walls when i post? thanks guys

 

look on the upper left corner of the page under "user cp"
you can edit your avatar (on the side next to your name)
and your signature with sigpic.

it helps to use a file sharing site like photobucket.com to upload and share on websites like this one.

There is a photo size limit on the sig, that is the reason for uploading the pic into photobucket and resizing. Once uploaded, click on "edit" and then click on "resize" to make it smaller and then copy and paste the [IMG Code] link into the signature. The IMG code is located on the left of the photo. You will also see HTML code, Direct Link, Email & IM......

 

I got the avatar working but no the sig. I opened a photobucket and did what you guys said and it works on the preview but not on my posts?

just fyi for when you get it straightened out (it looks like you were able to get the pic to load in the sig section, though), the max size is 500px wide by 250 tall. also, if you'd like a custom sig or anything, you can make a thread in the chop shop, and one of us will hook you up
