Default No electricity?

So my alternator housing came loose, I replaced it with another alternator I had from before, but now my car has no electricity to anything. Not even the open door light. Battery is fine, alternator is fine, engine will fire up fine when the ignition is bypassed, but will shut off as soon as you let go. Anyone have any ideas?

Sounds like your fuseable links are bad. They get brittle with age and you moving them to replace the alt may have broken them which would have been a problem eventually.
