Default Braking power

So I noticed after my new rims went on the car seems to have more braking power. Im assuming its because the rims are lighter(even though they are bigger) I there any chance something is wrong

Nope, it should handle better because of less unsprung weight, also

Yeah, that's why you should never get in front of an Escalade with 24s and stock brakes.

Plus, if your new rims have a larger width, your tires probably will have a larger footprint.
