Default CAI Help

I was wondering if those no-name CAI's they sell on Ebay for $50 are any good. If I was to buy one and put a K&N filter on it, is that just as good as buy a $180 CAI from either MAC or BBK? Is it the filter that makes the big difference or does the tubing have a lot to do with it as well?
Here is a link to one of the CAI's from Ebay:
Ebay Cold Air Intake

Thanks for the help

The sound of the engine might change though, not the exhaust. I still have the stock tubing but I removed the silencer and all the tubing in the fenderwell and it flows better and there's a little change in the sound when you get on it. I like it and it's something you can do in like a half an hour without spending any money
