I have a 91 Mustang 50 5 speed. The crazy thing is so high geared. In 4th at 55 to 60 mph Im taching 2000. in 5th it drops to 1500. Two questions ...any guess at what gear ratio Im running and what should I go to to have it run 55 to 60 in 5th gear at 2000 rpm? i live in a area where I drive in 4th gear all the time. I would like to have more punch down low and still end up with the 2000 in 5th at 55.

you got 2,73s or 3.08s ..get some 3.73s and you can still go 55 at 2000 ...
