So, today I was taking a friend to work, and of course, it was pouring rain. A bunch of water splashed up underneath my car, and right when I let him out, my car started making a weird noise that I don't know how to describe other than it wasn't real loud, but was kind of high pitched. I think it came from near the middle of passenger side, but I may be wrong since that was the door that was open when it made that sound, so that was the side that I could hear the best from. Then, my lights started flashing. I turned my car off then started it back up a couple seconds later, and the noise was gone. My remote start no longer works, and when I lock it/arm the alarm, it gives me three beeps which is what it should do when the doors are open while I'm trying to lock it. When the doors are closed and everything, it should be one beep. Anyways, the engine still seems to be running fine. I don't feel significant horsepower loss, if any. So... any ideas what I screwed up?
